Glass Condensate Trap Connections

The Glass Trap Condensate Drainage Trap Systems from SGL – Scientific Glass Laboratories, provide a complete suite of effective easy to install & inspect drainage traps.

The easiest and most economical way of connecting to other materials is by utilising the standard BSP thread. As most AHU manufacturers have identified that their units are fitted with a glass trap - 95% of manufacturers now fit BSP male threads as standard to their AHU's. SGL have made this its preferred method of connection: A simple 'O' ring - "BSP threaded adapter" made of the same inert material as the coupling is inserted into a standard glass/glass coupling - achieving the desired effect.
